This is usually where you read the story of who we are and why we started all this. The truth is, we started it and are doing it for these little people:

We strongly believe that America needs to recapture its manufacturing, so that our children will have jobs and grow up in a prosperous country with ample opportunities.

We are proud to support American workers. Our own brand, Adooka, is sewn with care by a small factory in Philadelphia owned and run by a mother-daughter team. All of the products we carry that our company doesn't manufacture are Made in USA. Many of our products are organic. This is important. Why?

We conceived Two Crows for Joy as a place for parents, grandparents, and friends who want to support their fellow American workers, who are concerned about buying organic cotton and sustainable products, and who want to purchase quality products that are beautiful, functional, and durable. We hope you will love shopping here and will return again and again! We are always happy to talk and love to hear feedback, so please feel free to contact us any time.

About the owners: Anne launched Adooka Organics in 2009. She also manages a cognitive psychology research laboratory at Ohio State University and is a trained classical singer. Anne met her friend and design partner, Shannon (a sometimes classical singer, voice teacher, and artist and full-time mom), while studying at Northwestern University. They now plan their collections, brainstorm, design, troubleshoot, and discuss patternmaking across time zones after their kids are in bed, while they are cooking dinner, or otherwise managing the chaos that happens when you merge motherhood and small business.
